DoverPhila Federal Credit Union delivers more than $2.6 million in direct member giveback and meaningful investments across Tuscarawas County.
This marks the 31st consecutive year that the credit union has returned significant earnings to its members, with this year being the highest dollar bonus ever given to members. With this bonus, DoverPhila returned $15.5 million in dividends throughout the year to members and the Tuscarawas County community – exceeding last year’s $13 million.
Member Bonus Dividend
The $2.6 million year-end member bonus dividend* reflects the real, everyday financial advantages of credit union membership, including low-cost auto loans, competitive dividend and certificate rates, expanded digital tools, free financial resources, and a growing suite of programs designed to improve members’ long-term financial wellbeing.
Additionally, DoverPhila distributed $15 dividends to youth members enrolled in DP’s Kids Club and DP’s Savers Club accounts, further demonstrating its commitment to fostering financial wellness from an early age.
These bonus dividends reflect the unique member-owned model of the credit union. Earnings on savings, interest paid on loans, and debit card point-of-sale activity all contribute to the pool of funds that DoverPhila returns directly to its members each year.
