New IDCheck Requirement for Out-of-State Shared Branching

To enhance security and protect against fraud, a IDCheck verification process is required for Shared Branching transactions using an out-of-state ID.

What You Need to Do:

Before visiting a participating out-of-state Shared Branching location, preload your state-issued driver’s license into the IDCheck app at www.verify.coop.org. If you didn’t set it up in advance, simply scan the provided QR code upon arrival and follow these steps:

Type in the name of your credit union.
Enter your member number and the last four digits of your Social Security number.
Agree to the Terms & Consent.
Upload photos of your government-issued ID (front and back).
Take a selfie for verification.
Receive a one-time verification code (valid for 20 minutes).
Provide the code to the teller to complete your transaction.
Complete your transaction as usual.
