Financial literacy is a critical component of financial wellness. It is the ability to understand and use financial skills, including responsible money management, budgeting, saving and investing for the future, and is a crucial life skill that too few are learning.
As a credit union, one of our founding principles concerns our community. We believe financially prepared youth is a way our community can become stronger. That is why we’re celebrating Youth Week from April 17 through April 22 to encourage and instill healthy saving habits among our youth members. This year’s theme is “Unleash the Power of Saving at Your Credit Union.”

Youth Week Details
Starting Monday, April 17 – Saturday through April 22, youth members with DP’s Kids Club and Savers Club accounts can earn a 10% bonus up to $10 on qualifying deposits made to their youth accounts during Youth Week. Daily depositors are entered into daily drawings for DPFCU goodie bags. Click here for Youth Week Rules.
